Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE)


STOP WORK POLICY 



  • The policy of OGC SOLUTIONS Sdn Bhd that all employees including client, contractor and subcontractor personnel have the right to STOP THE WORK if and when there is an immediate threat to safety and environment.
    The individual’s right to STOP THE WORK has full support from OGC SOLUTIONS Sdn Bhd Management. 


  • When there is any doubt, as whether the work should stop, he or she should notify the immediate supervisor on the potential hazardous situation or condition.


  • OGC SOLUTIONS Sdn Bhd is committed to pursue the objective of NO HARM to the health and well-being of all personnel all our work sites, assets, property and the natural environment. 


COMPANY HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY  


  • OGC SOLUTIONS SDN BHD has adopted and is committed to, a policy on Health, Safety, and Protection in the Environment in the execution of our products and the services, the Health and Safety of all the personnel and preserves the natural Environment, as far it is practicable.
  • Our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) objectives shall bear equal important with our fundamental business objectives.
  • It is the responsibility of Management to review and continually improve our QHSE Management System, business, services, organizational and employee’s performance through:
  • Prevent injuries to people and property
  • Comply with all Statutory Health, Safety, and Environmental protection regulations.
  • Provide information, protection and training to our employees, contractors and members of the public who are associated with or affected by our business activities on Health, Safety and Environmental protection related matters
  • Provide a forum to our employees to continuously improve Health, Safety, and Environmental protection awareness to achieve the Company’s objective.
  • Implement and maintain a system to monitor and administer the Health, Safety and Environmental protection policy of the Company.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate as far as is practicable the risk to Health, Safety and the Environment associated with our activities.


DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY 



  • OGC SOLUTIONS Sdn Bhd is committed to a safe, healthy and conducive environment for all personnel. The Company recognizes that alcohol, un-prescribed controlled drugs, or other substance abuse by personnel will impair their ability to perform effectively and will have serious adverse effects on the safety, efficiency and productivity of the personnel and the company as a whole.


Disciplinary actions shall be taken against personnel who;

  • Use, possess, distribute or sell illicit or un-prescribed controlled drugs.
  • Consume, posses, distribute or sell alcoholic beverages.


  • Our policy includes all level including Manager and Supervisors, Full-time employees, Part-time employees, Contractors and Volunteers.
    Personnel possessing and consuming alcohol and the controlled drugs on the company’s premises can be terminated from employment. The Company shall report to the Authority any personnel that are found to possess, consume, distribute and sell controlled drugs.
